Our focus areas

Internal Medicine

Internal medicine covers a wide range of areas:

• Dermatology
• Cardiology
• Neurology
• Nephrology / Urology
• Endocrinology
• Gastroenterology
• Infectious diseases
• Pulmonology
• ENT

We obviously cannot be specialists in all these areas. Therefore, we collaborate with specialists who come to us or refer patients to specialized clinics when necessary!

Dermatology is covered by Dr. Almut Wallstab at our clinic.

Cardiology is Sinah Dohlen's area of expertise. For cardiological surgeries, we collaborate with small animal specialists in Berlin and the University of Giessen.

Dr. Dorothee Krastel is available for sonography.

In all other areas we can:

• Blood tests
• Urine tests
• Punctures / Fine-needle aspirations / Biopsies
• Stool examinations
• Swabs / bacteriological examinations
• Endoscopic examinations (ears, nose, pharynx, larynx, upper trachea)
• X-ray
• Ultrasound
• Computed tomography examinations


Diagnosing illnesses. Should we diagnose illnesses that we cannot treat, for which we lack the necessary diagnostic tools, or for which we cannot find a diagnosis, we will refer the patient to specialists in the relevant field.
